Warner Bros. officially announced at CinemaCon 2026 that Irish actor Jamie Dornan will play Gollum in the upcoming film The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum. Dornan is likely best known for his work as The Huntsman in Once Upon A Time and Christian Grey in 50 Shades of Grey, and for his impeccable comedic timing in Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar.
