Last March, there was quite the big rumor about Santa Monica Studio’s next game. It was said to be a God of War without Kratos, in which the player would instead play as Faye, the late wife of the franchise’s main character.
This time, we have new information unearthed by the website MP1st. It mentions that Faye will have a companion by her side during this epic adventure. It is said to be a sort of “gelatinous cube”. A talking sword, which is actually Merlin, might also be part of the story.
Even more interestingly, we will likely be exploring several mythologies. For example, Chinese, Japanese, and Mayan mythologies are reportedly part of this installment.
As always, we recommend taking these rumors with a grain of salt. However, this God of War could be announced this month.
