This April 16, 4A Games will officially present Metro 2039. The fourth installment in the post-apocalyptic FPS saga will offer a completely new experience within the franchise’s universe.
On X, Dmitry Glukhovsky, the creator of Metro, posted a brief message about the project. According to him, this Metro game will be “darker than anything you’ve seen before”. A recently leaked description mentions that the game ” blends exploration, survival, combat, and stealth in a world that is both captivating and deadly”.
Finally, the main artwork for Metro 2039 has also been found on Deep Silver’s website. Unfortunately, it is of poor quality.
This sounds intriguing! The Metro series has always delivered a gripping atmosphere, and I’m looking forward to seeing how 4A Games brings this next chapter to life. It’s exciting to see where they’ll take the story in such a dark setting.
