Available starting this Wednesday, April 8, 2026, exclusively on PC, Samson has been reviewed by some media outlets. While there are few reviews so far, Liquid Swords’ first open-world action game has received its first scores.
Unfortunately, the quality doesn’t seem to be up to par, as Samson has a Metacritic score of 53% based on about ten reviews.
While reviewers appreciated the cinematic combat, the overall atmosphere, and certain gameplay mechanics, the rest clearly falls short. Samson currently suffers from numerous frame rate issues, game-breaking bugs during missions, and overly repetitive objectives. The story is considered rather mediocre, and the enemy AI is lackluster.
