Crimson Desert has reportedly already sold around 400,000 copies on Steam alone

We’ve just received some pretty impressive early sales figures for Crimson Desert. The game is set to launch on March 19 and already seems to be a hit in terms of pre-orders.

Analyst Rhys Elliot, who works for Alinea Analytics, revealed that approximately 400,000 copies of the Pearl Abyss game have reportedly been sold on Steam alone. As a result, pre-orders have generated approximately $20 million in revenue (including $2.6 million on March 16, 2026, alone) on Valve’s platform. In addition, Crimson Desert has been added to Steam wishlists 2.2 million times.

In short, Crimson Desert is off to a strong start and looks set to be a massive commercial success.
