Slay the Spire 2 is getting several improvements and new features

Since its early access release on March 5, Slay the Spire 2 has been a huge commercial success. The game has sold over 3 million copies and reached nearly 575,000 concurrent players on Steam.

In their latest newsletter, the developers listed several new features that will be rolled out in the coming weeks. For example, there’s a complete overhaul of the badge and scoring system in the works, as well as a filter allowing players to view their friends’ rankings will also be added.

Mega Crit will also provide filters for phobias, more illustrations and visuals, constant updates for game balancing, and compatibility with Steam Workshop. Additionally, features to improve the multiplayer experience and official integration of the Twitch plugin are on the agenda.

Finally, a beta branch has been set up for players who would like to test future additions and changes.
