Microsoft has been at the forefront of backward compatibility for a good decade now. Since the arrival of the Xbox 360 catalog on Xbox One, the American manufacturer has stepped up its efforts to promote access to older generation games.
According to insider NateTheHate, Microsoft would like to go further. One of the brand’s projects is to make Xbox and Xbox 360 games owned by a user playable on PC. Microsoft has been trying to achieve this goal for over a year.
It remains to be seen whether this will lead to anything concrete in the near future.
