Crimson Desert details its technical specs on consoles

Pearl Abyss is back again with some healthy transparency by revealing the specifications of Crimson Desert on home consoles. There will be several configurations depending on the platform used.

On PS5 and Xbox Series X, the game will run at 1080p at 60 FPS Vsync or 60+ FPS VRR with low ray tracing in performance mode. The balanced mode, available on compatible screens, will offer upscaled 4K resolution (from 1280p with FSR 3) at 40 FPS Vsync with low ray tracing. As for quality mode, we’re looking at upscaled 4K (from 1440p with FSR 3) at 30 FPS Vsync and with high ray tracing.

Let’s move on to the PS5 Pro, which also benefits from these three display modes. In performance mode, the resolution is upscaled 4K (from 1080p with PSSR) at 60 FPS Vsync or 60+ FPS VRR and high ray tracing. In balanced mode, it will be upscaled 4K (from 1440p with PSSR) at 40 FPS Vsync or 48+ FPS VRR and high ray tracing. Quality mode will offer native 4K resolution at 30 FPS with ultra ray tracing.

Finally, the Xbox Series S only offers two different modes: quality at 1080p at 30 FPS with ray tracing disabled, and performance at 720p at 40 FPS Vsync, again without ray tracing.
