Vince Gilligan has been transparent about the fact that fans of his latest show, Pluribus, may have to wait a good long while before the show returns for season 2. While Apple picked up the science fiction series for a two-season deal (with the possibility of more), Gilligan and his writers didn’t start working on that second season until after the season 1 finale aired in December 2025. In interviews since, he’s made it clear we shouldn’t expect the show to return until 2027 at the soonest.
