Capcom announces that PC games account for 50% of its sales

Everything is going well for Capcom, which has just successfully launched Resident Evil Requiem. The Japanese company also answered several questions from investors, including one about its strategy for releasing its games on computers.

Capcom revealed that approximately 50% of its total sales were made on PC during the third quarter of its fiscal year. The company also said it expects this share to increase in the coming months. As a result, the publisher intends to strengthen its PC development framework. Technical expertise was acquired following the mixed reception of Monster Hunter Wilds. This experience will be applied to the production of future games.

The PC is therefore set to become Capcom’s platform of choice.
