Although Capcom has yet to release the initial sales figures for Resident Evil Requiem, the game seems to be a hit with gamers.
The ninth installment in the series has received “overwhelmingly positive” reviews on Steam, with 95% of the more than 36,500 reviews published being favorable. Also on Valve’s platform, the game has attracted up to 344,214 concurrent players.
Furthermore, Capcom’s title has equaled Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 on Metacritic, obtaining an average player rating of 9.5/10. Sandfall Interactive’s RPG obviously has many more reviews, with almost 24,500 posted online compared to around 2,350 for Resident Evil Requiem.
