When He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: The Dragon Pearl of Destruction was revealed at Gamescom 2025, it marked the beginning of Mattel’s celebration of all things Masters of the Universe for 2026. Players can control He-Man, Teela, and Man-At-Arms across side-scrolling stages rendered in bright, 16-bit-style pixel art–and for the first time, fans can take up the Sword of Protection and play as She-Ra.
Being in the shadow of He-Man has led She-Ra (who celebrated her 40th anniversary last year) to have sparse appearances outside of mobile releases like Tappers of Grayskull.
