NVIDIA announces supply difficulties for its GPUs

It comes as no surprise that graphics card stocks will be depleted in the coming weeks. When announcing its latest financial results, NVIDIA made no attempt to hide these difficulties.

Chief Financial Officer Colette Kress stated that “supply constraints will be a drag on the gaming sector in the first half of the year and beyond”. While demand remains strong and distributors have sufficient stocks, NVIDIA expects to produce lower volumes of GPUs starting in the first quarter of its fiscal year. This will run from January 26 to April 26, 2026.

In the fourth quarter (which ran from October 27, 2025, to January 25, 2026), NVIDIA generated revenue of $68.1 billion. This represents a 73% increase year-on-year. Net income was $42.96 billion (+94%). Revenue from the gaming division reached $3.7 billion (+47% year-on-year). This excellent result is attributed to strong demand for Blackwell.
