Radeon RX 9000 prices are falling due to low demand

While NVIDIA is often mentioned in relation to the explosion in graphics card prices, the trend is similar for AMD. However, the American manufacturer has also passed on the memory shortage to its products, which are now being shunned by some consumers.

The Radeon RX 9000 series, which mainly targets the entry-level and mid-range segments, has seen sharp price increases in recent weeks. For example, the very popular Radeon RX 9070 XT has risen to around $800, which is $200 more than when it was released.

As a result, demand has collapsed, particularly in the Japanese market, where prices for RDNA 4 graphics cards have risen by around 30-40%. Now, they are falling by 15-20%, as almost no customers are willing to pay such a high price.

So much so that after exceeding Β₯130,000 (around $840), the RX 9070 XT is now selling for Β₯108,000 ($770). The situation is similar for the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB, which has dropped from Β₯87,000 ($562) to Β₯71,000 ($458).
