Escape from Tarkov has been available on Steam since November, and is gearing up for a big year. Battlestate Games plans to improve its extraction FPS by fixing certain issues and adding new features.
The studio has published its roadmap for the coming months. In the first quarter, Escape from Tarkov will welcome DLSS 4.5 support, technical improvements, and reworked weapon animations. Sound effects, balance fixes, and other user experience optimizations will also be included.
In the second quarter of 2026, players can expect a large-scale in-game event, a new boss, revamped vegetation, and shorter loading times.
Finally, other additions will arrive in Escape from Tarkov during the last six months of the year.
