The Steam Deck shortages are increasing due to memory shortages

Will it soon be difficult to get hold of a Steam Deck OLED? That’s the question on everyone’s lips, as Valve’s portable console is becoming increasingly scarce.

All models are currently out of stock in the United States. In Europe, and more specifically in France, the OLED version with 512 GB of storage is no longer available for purchase.

This is due to a shortage of memory and storage media, which is slowing down production. Valve states in a press release that these stock shortages “are temporary in certain regions” due to this situation.

It should be noted that the brand decided to stop selling the 256 GB Steam Deck with LCD screen last December.
