Valve is currently testing a new feature via the Steam client beta. As part of this, players can add an important element to the reviews they leave for different games on the platform.
It is now possible to add the configuration of the PC we are playing on to our Steam reviews. This could make it easier for developers to identify performance issues related to certain hardware specifications.
This update to the Steam client beta also includes an option to “provide anonymous frame rate data”, which will allow Valve to collect information for the purpose of analyzing game compatibility and optimizing Steam. Minor fixes have also been applied.
