Game Informer News

Ubisoft in partnership with developer Digital Eclipse (Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, Tetris Forever) announced today Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition and it releases tomorrow, February 13 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and PC for $19.99.

Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition is billed as a celebration of 30 years of Rayman, but focuses on the very first Rayman game that released on PlayStation (and a few other platforms) back in 1995. Anniversary Edition doesn’t radically remaster the original game, but rather includes the PlayStation, Atari Jaguar, MS-DOS, Game Boy Advance, and Game Boy Color versions of the game. It also includes a “never-before-playable” SNES prototype of the game.

Other additions include 120 added levels, a “reimagined” soundtrack from Christophe Héral, rewind abilities, the option to turn on infinite lives and invincibility, and, in typical Digital Eclipse fashion, an interactive documentary with about an hour’s worth of interviews. The documentary features also include unseen concept art, early sketches, and design documents.
