Peter Molyneux, who created the Fable series and is known for hyperbole, has reacted to the recent Fable reveal, saying it made him “incredibly emotional” and that is he proud to know his creation is living on. He also said the game’s world, in its current state, has a “slight antiseptic” feel that lacks character and grime.
Speaking to IGN, Molyneux said he is a person who cries frequently, and he felt himself “tearing up” when he saw the new trailer in January.
“I felt incredibly emotional, and the reason I felt emotional was: ‘F*** me. This thing that we created, it’s going to live, it’s going to carry on. This world, which we loved creating so much, and other people loved, has a life,'” he said.
