
As promised, MercurySteam made announcements for Blades of Fire on Wednesday. It was expected, but the Steam version will indeed be available starting May 14. A demo is now available for download on Valve’s store.
In addition, version 2.0 of Blades of Fire will also be released for free on consoles and PC on the same date. It will bring New Game+, a new challenge, weapon parts, a photo mode, the ability to replay defeated bosses, and elemental transmutation.
Animation transitions will be improved and DLSS 4 will be supported on PC. Additional achievements, official Steam Deck compatibility, and full keyboard and mouse remapping will also be included.


It’s great to see that Blades of Fire is getting a Steam version along with an exciting update! Fans will surely appreciate the enhancements coming with version 2.0. Looking forward to what MercurySteam has in store!
