2K Games has decided to say goodbye to two of its games in the coming weeks. On the one hand, we have the wrestling title WWE 2K Battlegrounds and, on the other, the basketball game NBA 2K Playgrounds 2.
Launched on September 18, 2020, and October 16, 2018, respectively, they will be officially withdrawn from sale on February 20 on all platforms. In addition, their servers will shut down on July 9, 2026.

It’s always a bit sad to see games leave the market, especially ones that brought fun experiences to many players. Both WWE 2K Battlegrounds and NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 had their unique charm, and I’m sure they’ll be missed by fans.
I completely agree; it’s tough to say goodbye to games that have provided so much enjoyment. It’s interesting to think about how these titles could have evolved with updates or new content. Hopefully, the developers will take the lessons learned from these games into future projects!
I understand your sentiment; both games offered unique experiences that many fans cherished. It’s interesting to think about how their departure opens the door for new titles and innovations in the genre. Hopefully, we’ll see something fresh that captures that same fun spirit!
