Blades of Fire is an action-adventure game developed by MercurySteam that released back in May 2025 to almost universal indifference. The Spanish studio is known for its work on Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Metroid Dread.
Now, the company is preparing an announcement scheduled for February 11. The short teaser released today may give us a clue as to the nature of this announcement. On PC, Blades of Fire is currently only available through the Epic Games Store. We can therefore assume that this announcement will concern the Steam version.
In any case, MercurySteam will have its work cut out for it to make up for the commercial failure of the game.
