RPGs That Rarely Force You Into Combat

For the most part, RPGs are pretty standard affairs. Sometimes players can create their character, and sometimes they will control a large group of premade characters through realistic, sci-fi, or fantasy worlds. RPGs can be tactical, turn-based, action-oriented, or some hybrid in-between, and most follow these characters going after some evil trying to destroy something, albeit a city or the entire world.
