The Resident Evil series has become synonymous with survival horror. With slowly opening, creaking doors, horrific tales of Umbrella’s experiments and their aftermath, and ghastly, mutated enemies. Just as integral to the series’ DNA, though, is a streak of absolutely hilarious overacting and B-movie melodrama.
