To kick off the latest Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, we got a deep dive into the absolutely beautiful-looking Switch 2 exclusive Orbitals. It looks like Split Fiction with an ’80s anime aesthetic, and everyone here at GameSpot is raving about it.
Orbitals was announced by Shapefarm and Kepler Interactive at The Game Awards 2025. The game’s retro-anime aesthetic stood out then, but its Direct-opening featured segment delved into what we can expect from the game, moment to moment.
