Ghost of Yōtei came out exclusively on PS5 last October, and has clearly succeeded in its goal, surpassing the sales of its predecessor.
Without giving specific figures, Sony stated during its financial results presentation that Yōtei “had exceeded the sales of the previous title over the same period”. The Sucker Punch title also “contributed significantly” to Sony’s strong financial performance for the quarter ending December 31, 2025.
By early November, Ghost of Yōtei had already sold more than 3.3 million copies.
