Xbox has announced several new titles coming to Game Pass in February, including multiple AAA releases.
One of the standout additions this month is High On Life 2, the sequel to Squanch Games’ well-received original. High On Life 2 will launch on Game Pass on its release day and will also be available on other platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. There will be no physical edition available at launch. The game is scheduled to release on April 20, 2026, which will also mark its debut on the Switch 2. Unlike the original title, this sequel will be exclusive to current-generation hardware, leaving PlayStation 4, Xbox One and original Switch owners unable to access the game.
The upcoming title, Starsand Island, will also launch as a day-one early access release on Game Pass. The game blends elements of Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing and The Sims, inviting players to step away from corporate life and settle into a more relaxed existence on a remote island.
One of the game’s most notable features is its non-player character interactions. Each NPC is designed with an individual personality and memory system, allowing for more natural and responsive interactions with the player. Combined with a building mode, combat, hobbies and farming mechanics, Starsand Island is shaping up to be a strong contender for cozy game of the year.
