PS5 and PC gamers will be able to get their hands on Nioh 3 this Friday, February 6, 2026. In the meantime, the first reviews from the specialist press are out. This third installment clearly has everything to appeal to fans of the genre.
On Metacritic, Nioh 3 has a score of 86% on PS5 (62 reviews) and 85% on PC (17 reviews). The OpenCritic average stands at 87% with a total of 62 reviews published. Of course, these results may change over time.
Nioh 3 has been praised for its great gameplay, with complementary ninja and samurai modes available. This third entry also features open areas that are enjoyable to explore, content in spades, and a really entertaining coop mode.
On the downside, the graphics engine is starting to show its age, objectives are often recycled, and the story leaves a lot to be desired.
