Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed what they have planned for Tekken 8 during Season 3, confirming three out of the four planned DLC characters: Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr.
Kunimitsu will be the next character to be added to the game in late Spring, followed by Bob in Summer, and Roger Jr. sometime in Autumn. The fourth and final DLC character for Season 3 remains unannounced, but Bandai Namco confirmed it will arrive in Winter alongside a new stage.
Tekken 8 Season 3, Plus the 2nd Anniversary Campaign
The trailer above offers a brief glimpse of what players can expect beyond the new characters. The Season 3 Pass will be available starting February 9 and will feature 120 hours of early access to the new characters when they launch. They also announced a Tekken 8 second anniversary campaign launching at the same time Season 3 becomes available for purchase, with more details to be shared at a later date.
On March 16, the next wave of game balance adjustments will be released, along with the next rank reset.
While unconfirmed, itβs reasonable to assume former Tekken director Katsuhiro Harada still had some involvement during the early stages of Season 3βs development. In December 2025, Harada announced his departure from Bandai Namco, marking the end of an era. He has been a major creative force behind the series since the original Tekken launched in arcades.
