Square Enix clearly intends to pick up the pace when it comes to ports. After being confirmed by director Naoki Hamaguchi, the Switch 2 version of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is expected to arrive this year (in addition to the Xbox Series one).
Now, TheGamer has provided further details about the launch window. According to anonymous sources, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will arrive on Nintendo’s console in the summer of 2026.
The announcement could be made during a Nintendo Direct broadcast, which is rather convenient, as it seems to be scheduled for February.
