Nintendo plans to roll out patch 11.0.0 for Splatoon 3 on Switch this January 29. In the meantime, the Japanese company has provided details about the content of this update.
Inklings and Octolings who quickly eliminate several opponents will be given a new status called Flow Aura, which causes an explosion of ink around the player. The effect lasts for 30 seconds, during which time your character gets a speed bonus, ink resistance, and an ability that enhances their actions.
In addition, a health bar will appear above enemies or teammates who have just taken damage to clearly indicate their health points. Collision detection has also been reworked with a slightly reduced hit box in swimming mode. Finally, the Stealth Jump ability will allow you to join your allies without your opponents being able to see your landing point.
