Highguard, The Game Awards’ unexpected final reveal, gets a big showcase Monday

The announcement of Highguard — a new free-to-play PVP shooter from former Respawn developers at Wildlight Studios — was meant to end 2025’s The Game Awards with a bang. Since then, though, it’s largely been silence from Wildlight, following the game’s December announcement.
