After leaving Nintendo, Doug Bowser joins Hasbro

Officially replaced as head of Nintendo of America on January 1, Doug Bowser has already bounced back at another major entertainment company.

The businessman has joined the board of directors of toy giant Hasbro. The American company owns several major brands such as Wizards of the Coast, Transformers, and Monopoly. Carla Vernon is also accompanying Bowser in this new adventure.

Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks issued a brief statement.

“Doug and Carla bring deep expertise in building iconic brands, creating meaningful consumer experiences, and driving innovation and transformation across their respective industries.

Their leadership will be invaluable as we continue to execute our Playing To Win strategy and deliver extraordinary play experiences to fans around the world.”

Doug Bowser has been replaced as head of Nintendo of America by Devon Pritchard.
