Now scheduled for release on March 5, Marathon needs to ramp up its marketing campaign and tout its merits. Since Bungie is owned by Sony, it’s no surprise to learn that the game will be optimized for the PS5 Pro.
The American studio has confirmed that PSSR will be used to merge “internal 5K rendering into a sharp and stable 4K image”, which will provide a clear view at all times. Of course, the game will run at a stable frame rate of 60 frames per second. Ultra-high-definition environments will be included.
On the PS5 range, Marathon will support the DualSense’s haptic feedback and Tempest 3D audio. The controller’s built-in microphone will also be put to good use.
