
An acclaimed 2020 PS4 action game, which was also given out for free to PS Plus subscribers, is shutting down select multiplayer features. Arc System Works has announced that itโs downscaling Granblue Fantasy: Versusโ online modes, following which several of the gameโs trophies will become unobtainable.

Starting April 20, 2026, the following Granblue Fantasy: Versus features will go offline:
Journal:
- Uploading and downloading replays
Game modes:
- Ranked matches (Ranked Match will be changed to Casual Match in the menu)
- Online lobby
- Rankings
Customize menu:
- Editing player profile
Announcements:
- All banners and text will display as though the game were in Maintenance Mode (some residual text may remain regarding Ranked Match)
The following trophies will become unobtainable:
- Now the Real Fight Begins!: Due to being unable to complete tutorial matches.
- Hot Enough for You?: Due to online battle results no longer being recorded.
- Platinum Sky: Due to being unable to complete all trophies (unless the above two trophies have already been unlocked)
Features that will remain online for the foreseeable future include RPG mode (online backup request), Versus and Arcade modes, and Room Matches.
Itโs unclear when/if Granblue Fantasy: Versus will be delisted from the PS Store following the downscaling.
