Ubisoft will have a lot to announce in the coming weeks. Almost everyone is eagerly awaiting news about Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
For now, however, Insider Gaming has mentioned a completely different project in an article. According to several sources, the French publisher is working on a turn-based tactical Rainbow Six game with a top-down view similar to Diablo. The gameplay is largely inspired by the XCOM franchise, with a loop similar to that of Rainbow Six Siege.
Players will have to choose their different operators, attack a building, and rescue hostages. The total length of the game is estimated to be 25 to 30 hours, depending on the player’s level.
The release is not expected for another year or two. Ubisoft still plans to release the title on PS5, Xbox Series, PC, and possibly Switch 2.
