Soccerverse has officially entered Season 3, setting the stage for its next competitive cycle with key dates and several changes to gameplay and economics. The season rollout follows the game’s established six month structure, which has been in place since early 2025.
The Champions Cup qualifiers opened on January 10, with league matches scheduled to begin on January 17. This transition comes after a short preseason period and signals the start of a fresh campaign for clubs and managers across the platform.
Gameplay and Economy Updates
Season 3 introduces a set of economic adjustments aimed at tightening competition and balancing progression. One of the main changes is a new cap on Influence, limiting growth to ten percent per season and setting a maximum total of one million. The update is designed to slow excessive accumulation while preserving long term strategic planning.
At the same time, performance based rewards have been significantly increased. The base price has been doubled, the Starting Eleven bonus has been increased fivefold, and match actions such as goals, assists, and clean sheets now carry thirty times more weight than before. Player wages remain unchanged, keeping operating costs stable for clubs.
Real Players Added Through FIFPRO License
A major addition in Season 3 is the use of real player names and images. Through a licensing agreement with FIFPRO, Soccerverse now includes more than 65,000 professional footballers from over 70 countries. The update adds a new layer of authenticity to squad building and transfers, integrating real world identities into the game’s onchain economy.
Market Activity and Engagement
Soccerverse continues to operate a large scale player driven economy. The platform now supports over 5,000 clubs, with the total in game economy estimated at 36 million dollars. Recent activity includes more than 24,000 player transfers and over 11.6 million dollars in value added through market participation.
In the lead up to Season 3, in game payouts exceeded 30,000 dollars, reflecting ongoing engagement from active managers.
Mobile Version on the Horizon
The team has also confirmed that a mobile app is in development. Mobile access is expected to make daily club management more accessible and could increase retention by allowing players to manage squads and transfers more easily throughout the day.
As Season 3 gets underway, Soccerverse combines tighter economic controls with expanded realism, shaping a new competitive environment for managers as the season unfolds.
