Bungie didn’t take anyone by surprise, as the information had been leaked a few hours earlier. Marathon will be released on March 5, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
A trailer has been released by the American studio, and pre-orders are now open. Players who purchase the FPS before its release will receive cosmetic items for weapons, an emblem, and an exclusive background. Rewards for Destiny 2 will also be included.
The standard edition, priced at $39.99, includes access to all game updates and the aforementioned rewards. The Deluxe Edition ($59.99) includes seven Runner frames, a Rewards Pass voucher, 200 SOIE tokens (Rewards Pass), and cosmetic items for weapons and Runners.
Finally, a collector’s edition is also available from the Bungie store. PS5 players will also be able to purchase an exclusive DualSense controller for €84.99, available for pre-order starting January 29. A Pulse Elite headset, available only in the United States, will retail for $169.99.
