In an interview with IGN, composer Bear McCreary, known for his music in God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarök, said he would be open to returning to work on the franchise in the future if the opportunity arose, even though he feels his work so far gives him a sense of completion. He has also worked on the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, available on Disney+.
He is particularly proud of his contributions to the God of War franchise and does not rule out collaborating on future projects, including the TV adaptation of the franchise, which is one of the most eagerly awaited projects following the success of certain TV adaptations of video games.
