Hytale Gameplay: Exploring the Early Game & Building a Terrible Home

After long 7 long years the Minecraft-like game form Hypixel Studios, Hytale, is finally here. Originally revealed in December of 2018, Hytale would gain a lot of hype and attention before being cancelled by Riot Games in 2025. Original creator of Hytale, Simon Collins-Laflamme, bought the game back from Riot shortly after cancelletion to then have the game release in early access. We booted up the game to get a glimpse at what the early Hytale gameplay was all about. Here’s roughly 20 minutes of us starting a world in Hytale and exploring the procedural world and dungeons.
