Ubisoft has announced a restructuring of Massive Entertainment, the studio responsible for The Division and an Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora game, potentially resulting in the loss of around 55 jobs at its offices in Malmö and Stockholm.
These job cuts follow a voluntary departure program and are part of broader efforts to reduce costs and realign teams. According to the publisher, they are not related to the quality of work, but rather to a new long-term organization that will allow the company to better focus on The Division franchise (including The Division 3), the Snowdrop engine, and Ubisoft Connect.
