Lenovo announced a new portable console at its CES 2026 conference: a Lenovo Legion Go based on SteamOS.
This powerful mobile device features an 8.8-inch WUXGA OLED screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a brightness of 500 nits. Inside, we find an 8-core Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor, up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8000 memory, and up to 2 TB of storage via a Gen 4 SSD. A 74 Wh battery with a 65 W USB Type-C power supply is also included.
Of course, the main appeal of this Lenovo Legion Go lies in its integration of SteamOS. The operating system is perfectly optimized for gaming, with controller support, pause features, and access to the Steam library. Features such as cloud saves, Steam chat, and game recording are built in. The store is, of course, accessible.
The Lenovo Legion Go SteamOS will be released in June 2026 starting at $1,199.
