Former PS Stars members are reminded that they can still claim free PS Store credit with the points that they accumulated until July 2025. The program hasn’t completely shut down yet, as members have until November 2026 to redeem their points. However, points have an expiry date, so you risk losing them if you wait too long!
PS Stars members may not realize they have enough points for free PS Store credit
We totally forgot about PS Stars points, so thanks to Reddit user PoorNotMiddleClass for reminding us of them again. And from all the responses we’ve seen, quite a few members didn’t realize that they were sitting on enough points to redeem them against PS Store Wallet Fund rewards.
Although Sony took away members’ ability to earn new points, it didn’t remove the expiry date on those points. As a reminder, points expire within 12 months, so all those coins you earned while shopping for PS Plus subscriptions and games on the PS Store last holiday are set to expire by the end of this month!
Unfortunately, those who are just shy of enough points to claim PS Store Wallet Funds are out of luck. All other rewards — like digital collectibles — have been removed, so you’re just going to have to watch your points expire.
