
Next year, the Persona saga will celebrate its 30th anniversary. 2026 will also mark ten years since Persona 5 was released in Japan. It will therefore be the perfect opportunity to reveal information about the future of the franchise.
That’s what Kazuhisa Wada, president of P-Studio, wants to do. In an interview, he clearly stated his desire to reveal one or more Persona projects in 2026.
“The Persona series will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026. As a token of our gratitude to the fans, we are preparing a wide variety of initiatives on a global scale, so stay tuned!
In addition, we believe that opportunities will arise in 2026 to discuss future projects for the series. Preparations are progressing well, and the entire ATLUS team will do its utmost to generate excitement around Persona. We sincerely thank you for your continued support!”
Last June, SEGA officially announced the existence of Persona 4 Revival. The remake of the fourth game still has no release date.
