Stardew Valley Mod Adds Hours Of New Content, All Free

A new Stardew Valley mod has added hours of new content, and it might be a good reason to start a new playthrough.

Stardew Valley has consistently proven itself to be the game that keeps on giving thanks to its vast number of content updates and mods expanding it beyond its initial scope.

Even after nearly ten years and six major patches, mods are providing more ways to enjoy the game, and they certainly give me a reason to reboot the game for a fresh playthrough.

Ecosystem Superpack Expansion is a collection of mods which when combined together, add dozens of hours of new content for players to check out.

It includes the mods FIASA, Ranger Taro, and The Canyons, each one tweaked so they’re compatible with each other and work flawlessly.

However, don’t think of it as a simple mod compilation, as author cacjbell has stated that this is “less of a re-release for each mod, and more of a complete and utter remaster”, with new elements added not seen in the original release.

This means art, maps, dialogue, and events have been redone or touched up, while characters and events play out in different ways, even if they stay true to themselves.

Meanwhile, progression and quest mechanics have also been rebuilt, with maps now connecting into one whole ecosystem. It should essentially be the definitive edition of cacjbell’s mods, and is a far more monumental task than simply unifying the mods under one download.

Ecosystem Superpack Expansion Has A Lot Of New Features

In total, the mod has three new NPCs, one of whom is able to be romanced. There are also some cameos from new side characters. You’ll also find two new animals, one for the coop and the other for the barn.

The mod also features 26 new events to witness, along with five new map areas not including interior or special event areas. There’s also a new crop to have on your farm, three tea recipes, and two new shops which serve to widen out the game’s economy.

If you’d like to install the mod, you can grab Ecosystem Superpack Expansion now from the Stardew Valley page on Nexus Mods. Obviously, with it being a mod, it’s only available for PC at the moment.

Of course, if you’d prefer to play with the older versions of each mod, these are also available as individual downloads which you can install separately.
