Today is no different as Steam has dropped eight incredible games to play on your time off and better yet, they are completely free to download and keep.

First up is Rosaluna: Moonlit Vengeance, a side-scrolling adventure that combines high-stake battles and turn-based combat.

Next is Denpa Nightmares, a 2D platformer with a haunting story. So much so, that it is worth leaving you with the official synopsis.

If you are looking for something a bit more upbeat, you can check out The Whittled Horse. In this exploration puzzle game, you will follow a boy called Thomas and his friend Evey after they are trusted to deliver a package.

However, they soon discover that a mysterious force is following them and what they carry in that package will determine their whole future.

On the other hand, Youchosis offers a unique view on psychosis as you take on the role of Keith, a man who is battling his very own mind as he overdoses. Now shifting through various realms, Keith must search for the “perfect afterlife” as he views reality through psychosis.

In Dark Chronicles: Reawakening of Evil, you will have to fight with all of your might in this survivor-like RPG.

Dodge the relentless onslaught of demonic creatures as you fight across multiple maps in an intense battle for survival.

Now For Something A Bit Cosier

Fans of Coffee Talk will love Contract Cafe, an adventure simulation game where you will get to manage a quant café on the brink of closure. However, when you receive a letter which tasks you with adopting a young girl with a mysterious past, you soon discover that the café has more to it than meets the eye.

As you attempt to rescue the café, deal with its peculiar customers and look after your new ward, you will soon have much bigger things to worry about.

If you are a lover of visual novels, then you will want to check out Bound Between Desks.

In this mystical visual novel, you will soon discover that your ordinary school life must intertwine with mysterious phenomena with every decision you make plunging you into an even greater uncertainty.

With a dark mystery waiting to be uncovered, this visual novel packs a punch.

Last but not least is Five Shifts at Zlata’s, a 3D horror with 2D effects, unique mechanics and just one task: survive the night. As you can imagine, this one is inspired by Five Nights at Freddy’s so I don’t need to tell you that it is not for the faint of heart.

However, if you are feeling brave enough, this 3D horror will see you take on the role of a security manager in a family restaurant which just so happens to be hiding plenty of dark secrets.
