The rumours were correct about the arrival of a new Switch 2 cartridge that was to have more limited storage but be more affordable for studios.
In a message, ININ Games confirmed this information and even specified that two new formats had been created by Nintendo. The Japanese publisher has therefore decided to discontinue the game key cards for R-Type Dimensions III in physical format. Instead, the title will use one of these new physical cards, being stored in one.
There is one small downside, however, as the price of the physical editions of R-Type Dimensions III will increase by ÂŁ10. This is due to higher production costs associated with these new cards. Players who have already pre-ordered the special edition will not be affected by this price increase.
