Haha, You Clowns season 2 confirmed! Adult Swim renews the ‘radically heartfelt’ cartoon

Last October, Adult Swim’s latest viral hit, Smiling Friends, returned for a third season, offering another dose of trippy, dark comedy. But later that month, the network also unleashed a brand-new animated show with a very different vibe. Haha, You Clowns was sweet and soothing (think Joe Pera Talks to You, but in cartoon form). It was exactly the kind of thing that might seem out of touch in this bleak, cynical moment — but maybe that’s why it turned out to be such a hit.
