
Although it doesn’t have a release date yet, update 1.7 for Stardew Valley is definitely in development. Eric Barone is working on it and has promised several new features.
He was asked by a user on X whether he could give any clues about the content of this famous patch. Barone, the creator of the farming sim, offered a few details on the matter.
“There will be some more character/social stuff, it’s also traditional to add a new farm type. Lots more but I don’t want to reveal much yet.”
In addition, he promised to reveal more very soon about a Switch 2 version of Stardew Valley.
