The Game Awards had another strong year in 2025, with host and organizer Geoff Keighley announcing today that the show reached 171 million global livestreams. That’s up 11% from 154 million in 2024 and makes the 2025 show the “most watched TGA in history.”
Keighley also states that conversations about TGA on X were up 12% and that the show had 23,000 co-streams across Twitch and YouTube, which was up 50% year-over-year. The new streaming viewership numbers do not count views on Prime Video, Variety reported.
This year’s Super Bowl, meanwhile, reached 127.7 million viewers. The comparison is not 1:1, however, for many reasons.
